麥康瑞（英文名：Rebecca MacKinnon，1969年－）[1]是一位美國人權活動家，香港網絡作家。
生平
生於美國加州的柏克萊，曾經在CNN任職，最高升至北京辦事處主任，是全球之聲的共同創辦人。熱愛研究中國國學，曾到過台灣生活；其父親是一位中國近代史學者[2]。麥康瑞也曾在於香港大學新聞學系擔當助理教授；另外，她亦是維基媒體基金會理事咨詢會顧問之一，也曾出席香港維基媒體協會的成立典禮和一、二屆中文網誌年會等草根媒體相關社群活動。 麥康瑞懂得英語及普通話，但不懂廣東話。 她是保護記者委員會 (the Committee to Protect Journalists)的董事會成員[3] ，全球網路倡議(the Global Network Initiative)的創始董事會成員[4] ，是新美國基金會開放技術研究所(the New America Foundation's Open Technology Institute)排名數位權利專案(the Ranking Digital Rights project) 的創始主任。
CNN
- 1992年加入CNN，擔任北京局助理。
- 1997年調任製片人/記者。
- 1998年調任局長。
- 2001年，成為東京分局局長。在CNN期間，她採訪了小泉純一郎(Junichiro Koizumi)、達賴喇嘛(14th Dalai Lama)、佩爾韋茲·穆沙拉夫(Pervez Musharraf)和穆罕默德·哈塔米(Mohammad Khatami)等著名領導人。
- 2009年4月11日，麥康瑞接受中國大陸「Anti-CNN」網站的主要成員採訪[5]。
教育
2004年春天，是哈佛大學肯尼迪政府學院瓊·肖倫斯坦新聞、政治和公共政策中心研究員，夏天，加入哈佛法學院的伯克曼互聯網(MacKinnon founded Global Voices Online)與社會中心擔任研究員,直到2006年12月。 2007年1月，加入香港大學新聞及傳媒研究中心，直至2009年1月。 2009年2月至2010年1月，她以開放社會研究員的身份進行研究，由喬治·索羅斯的開放社會研究所資助。 [8] 然後在2010年2月，她加入了普林斯頓大學資訊技術政策中心 where she was a visiting fellow, working on a book about the future of freedom in the Internet age.[9] Regarding the Middle East, MacKinnon wrote that "the Internet empowers people and helps to bring about the peaceful changes associated with the Arab Spring".[10]
2010年9月，麥金農成為新美國基金會的伯納德·施瓦茨研究員。 [11] 她是智囊團排名數位權利專案的創始主任，該專案排名世界最強大的國際米蘭t，移動和電信，公司對用戶權利的尊重，重點是言論自由和隱私。
2007年1月，她加入了成立維琪媒體基金會的首屆顧問委員會。
