墨西哥灣( Gulf of Mexico )，是北美洲南部大西洋的一海灣，以佛羅里達半島-古巴-尤卡坦半島一線與外海分割。北為美國，南、西為墨西哥，東南為古巴，東經佛羅里達海峽與大西洋相連，經尤卡坦海峽與加勒比海相接，是著名的墨西哥灣暖流的起點。墨西哥灣形成於3億年前的地球板塊運動。[1]
