詹姆斯·麥迪遜大學（英語：James Madison University，簡稱JMU、Madison或James Madison）是一所位於美國維吉尼亞州的哈里森堡市的公立大學，創立於1908年，1938年為了紀念詹姆斯·麥迪遜總統而改名麥迪遜學院，1977年改現名。 2015年《美國新聞與世界報道》將其排在「南部地區大學」中的第6位。

該大學總共有9個學院，115種學位。最新的學院是2004年6月24日從文藝學院（College of Arts and Letters）分出來的視覺和表演藝朮學院（College of Visual and Performing Arts）。它是美國國內較優秀的公立大學之一，2014年《彭博商業周刊》將其本科商學課程排在全國第40位。

此外JMU還有國際學習中心（international study center，簡稱ISC），建立了針對留學生的預科課程。

學術專業

詹姆斯麥迪遜大學被美國政府的「卡內基教育發展基金會」列為錄取率較低（競爭力較強）的學校之一。2009年10月2日，美國最古老的本科「斐陶斐榮譽學會」把詹姆斯麥迪遜大學列入他們學術榮譽學會章程當中。在美國，只有10%的學院和大學被「斐陶斐榮譽學會」授予此榮譽。詹姆斯麥迪遜大學提供超過200個學位，當中包括學士、碩士、教育專家和博士學位。學校擁有21個學系學院：

• 視覺和表演藝術學院:2005年6月24日，董事會通過學院提案創立了視覺和表演藝術學院，並把該學院從「藝術和文學學院」當中獨立出來。視覺和表演藝術學院主要負責藝術、藝術史、音樂、戲劇和舞蹈，和麥迪遜藝術收藏學術課程。2007年1月9號，弗吉尼亞州高等教育機構批准JMU重新成立新的工程學院。該學系從2008年秋季開始接收本科學生。該學院教學以科學當中的持續性為主題，並以環境科工程為主導，提供綜合專業工程學位。
