从事[[播音主持]]工作已经十年。十五年前，她从[[南昌大学]]新闻本科、到中青报记者、再到中央电视台七套编导，2006年，又从中国传媒大学播音主持硕士、到广西电视台新闻主播，一路走来，记者的意识、编导的思维，赋予了她知性内敛、生动干练的主持风格；现场的锤炼、编辑的熏染，使她在主持不同样态的节目时从容自如。<ref>[http://info.gxtv.cn/201807/news_2052470571.html 主持人严青梅]广西电视台2018/7/23</ref>
