麥克斯·布魯克斯 （Max Brooks，1972年5月22日-）是一位美國出生的作家，身兼編劇和男演員。他的父母是喜劇製作人Mel Brooks和女演員Anne Bancroft。主要著作恐怖和幽默故事[1]。
早期經歷
布魯克斯生於紐約市的一個猶太人演藝之家[2]。曾在加州的普利策學院短暫學習歷史，後來退學。並在University of the Virgin Islands學習過一個學期。1994年畢業於首都華盛頓特區的美利堅大學[3][4][5]。
事業
2001年到2003年，他是喜劇綜藝節目《周六夜現場》的編劇團隊成員。
2003年發表首部書籍《打鬼戰士1：世界末日求生指南》。2006年發表《打鬼戰士II：檔案Z》，該書後來改拍成電影《殭屍世界大戰》。
私人生活
2003年他與 Michelle Kholos 結婚，兩人育有一個兒子Henry Michael Brooks (2005年3月出生)，一家人居住在加州洛杉磯的威尼斯。[3]
