1982年畢業於上海水產大學淡水漁業專業(本科),1987年畢業於上海水產大學魚類生理學專業,獲農學碩士學位,1994年畢業於美國明尼蘇達大學漁業和神經科學專業特,獲理學博士學位。現任美國密歇根州立大學終身教授、終身講席教授(Chair Professor)。
研究領域編輯
化學生理、信息素通信、魚類信息素調控,魚類生殖及應激內分泌調控,無頜魚類進化,基因組注釋及功能基因組學,入侵種生物控制。先後主持美國NIH、NSF、美國能源部、SEA GRANT、五大湖漁業委員會、五大湖漁業信託基金、五大湖保護基金和加拿大科學與工程研究部 (NSERC)的基金資助,總經費超過1100萬美元。近年來,在《SCIENCE》、《PNAS》、《JOURNAL OF NEUROSCIENCE》、《BMC Evolutionary Biology》等國際頂級學術期刊發表多篇具有很強學術影響力的論文。
海七鰓鰻信息素通信學術報告
2018年11月21日,李偉明應邀中國水產研究所,所開展學術交流並作報告。與中國水產研究所相關科研人員和研究生20餘人參加了學術交流會。會議由科研處副處長麼宗利主持。
報告會上,李偉明教授作了題為「海七鰓鰻信息素通信」的學術報告,介紹了從尋找雄性海七鰓鰻如何釋放性信息素這一生物學現象入手,利用化學手段解析性信息素的化學結構,再到合成該性信息素釋放到河流中進行雌性海七鰓鰻的誘捕實驗,以及其研究團隊利用大規模篩選的方式,在細胞水平和分子水平確定性信息素及其受體相互作用的分子機理方面研究的最新研究進展。會後,與相關科研人員圍繞海水魚基因組解析、水生動物鹽鹼適應性機制等具體問題進行溝通與交流。 [1]
