堵國成，男，1965年10月出生，中共黨員，教授，博士生導師。曾任江南大學生物工程學院院長、研究生院院長兼學科建設處處長。2021年6月起任江南大學黨委常委、副校長。

堵國成主要從事發酵過程優化與控制和酶技術與工程領域的研究。圍繞國民經濟與社會的重大需求、追蹤本學科國際前沿，進行了大量基礎性、探索性工作。作為項目負責人或主要研究骨幹完成了18項作為國家淮河、太湖、長江等流域污染治理重點工程，全部通過環保部門的達標驗收，工程總投資達7000萬元，為三大流域的污染物治理作出了重要貢獻。近5年完成或承擔國家自然科學基金、國家863項目等省部級項目12項，10項成果被鑑定達到國內領先或國際先進水平。18項發明專利獲授權，申請發明專利35項。在國外期刊上發表SCI收錄論文72篇。完成專著5部。1項成果獲國家科技進步二等獎，7項科研成果分別獲部省級科技進步一、二、三等獎。1項成果獲國家教學成果二等獎，3項教學成果分別獲江蘇省教育成果特等、一、二等獎。

2002年被評為省高校"青藍工程"第二期計劃省級優秀青年骨幹教師，2005年被評為無錫市第十三屆十大傑出青年，2005年獲教育部新世紀優秀人才計劃資助。2007年江蘇省"333高層次人才培養工程首批中青年科技領軍人才。

1997年12月獲無錫輕工業學院發酵工程專業博士學位;1989年12月獲無錫輕工業學院發酵工程專業碩士學位。

2000年6月-2001年6月，香港科技大學博士後;2003年7月-2004年12月，美國夏威夷大學訪問科學家。

獲獎記錄

獲得6項國家科技進步獎二等獎和省部級獎勵。獲江蘇省教學成果特等獎2項、國家教學成果二等獎1項。擔任國家精品課程"生化工程"的負責人。09年入選新世紀百千萬人才工程國家級人選、獲全國優秀教師稱號。
