威廉·A·哈兹尔廷 (英语：William A. Haseltine；1944年10月17日－）是一位美国免疫学家和商人，哈佛大学医学院教授，主要研究方向为人类免疫缺陷病毒（英语：human immunodeficiency virus，简称HIV，又称爱滋病毒）与艾滋病（英语：acquired immune deficiency syndrome，缩写为AIDS）。
早期生活与教育
哈兹尔廷将职业生涯致力于改善人类健康。他出生在一个科学家庭。他的祖父是工程师，他的父亲是博士物理学家。他是在加利福尼亚(Mojave Desert)莫哈韦沙漠的中国湖的海军军械试验站(Naval Ordnance Test Station)长大的，周围是武器科学家和工程师。 他的姐姐(Florence Pat Haseltine)弗洛伦斯·派特·哈兹尔廷获得了生物物理学和M.D.博士学位，他的弟弟(Eric Haseltine)埃里克·哈兹尔廷为神经生物学博士。他的妹妹苏珊成为计算机系统的专家。他的早年生活由布赖恩·亚历山大(Brian Alexander)和英格丽德·温克尔葛籣(Ingrid Winkelgren)在《狂喜》一书中描述。

COVID-19
