1738年，教会增列圣女日多达（St. Gertrude）的瞻礼，日多达的逝世日期，适为11月17日，与额我略的瞻礼日期相同（按教会惯例，以圣人圣女逝世之日为瞻礼日期）。教宗额我略十二世（Gregory XII）表示，一位“移动”山岭的圣人，他的瞻礼日期不应“移动”。所以就将圣女日多达的瞻礼，定于11月16日。
