<p style="text-indent: 30px; line-height:30px">另一項對十大建設的嚴厲批評是台中港的建港，邱連輝認為建港 的位址不適當，「從飛機上可以看到港口的淤沙很多，而且一年有四個月刮季節風，這些季節風會從濁水溪帶來大批的泥沙堆在港口，淤 沙會堵住航道，造成台中港的負擔，所以說不適合建設港口，應該建 在更下游的地方。」<br/>
