從他廣博的哲學知識轉化出來的著作是《歐洲——羅馬之道》，也已經被翻譯為多種語言。目前的工作成果以三部曲的型態開展出來：首先，第一部曲涉及的是「世界」的概，結集為《世界的智慧》（''La sagesse du monde'', 1999），第二部曲處理神的律法在歷史中如何被表陳出來，即《神的律法》（''La loi de Dieu'', 2005），第三部曲的主要著作為《人的統轄》（''Le règne de l'homme'', 2015），講述人在歷史中如何尋求掙脫自然與神，從兩者手中解放出來。此一第三部曲乃是對於現代性的批判，陳述文藝復興之後，人文主義的興起與衰頹，也有一系列作品細緻處理，可稱為小三部曲，包含：《定錨於天》（''Les ancres dans le ciel'', 2011）、《人的本分》（''Le propre de l'homme'', 2013）、 《矜持的現代》（''Modérément moderne'', 2014）。
