2001年至2005年在 [[ 华中科技大学 ]] 土木工程专业完成本科学习,期间2004年赴香港理工大学进行交流学习。
2005年至2009年在 [[ 美国 ]][[ 路易斯安那州立大学 ]] 土木工程专业学习,获工学博士学位。
2009年至2012年就职于美国 [[ 埃克森美孚石油公司 ]] ,先后担任高级研究工程师、项目主管。
2011年入选中组部"青年千人计划",2012年邓露成为 [[ 湖南大学 ]] 引进的唯 一一位中组部首批 "青年千人计划"入选者。
2012年-2015年 [[ 湖南大学土木工程学院 ]] ,教授,博士生导师。
