Julia Roberts is a celebrated American actress known for her remarkable performances in both romantic comedies and dramas. She gained global recognition with her breakout role in Pretty Woman (1990) and has since become one of Hollywood’s most beloved and highest-paid actresses. With her signature smile and versatile acting, Roberts has won numerous accolades, including an Academy Award for Erin Brockovich (2000).
Born on October 28, 1967, in Smyrna, Georgia, Roberts comes from a family with a background in acting and storytelling. Her parents, Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus, were both actors and co-founded a children's theater school. She has two siblings, Eric Roberts and Lisa Roberts Gillan, who are also actors, and a half-sister, Nancy Motes (who sadly passed away in 2014).
In her personal life, Julia Roberts is married to Daniel Moder, a cinematographer. The couple met on the set of The Mexican (2001) and tied the knot in 2002. They have three children: twins Hazel Moder and Phinnaeus Moder, born in 2004, and their youngest son, Henry Daniel Moder, born in 2007. Roberts continues to be an influential figure in Hollywood, balancing her successful career with her family life.
When asked about her biggest beauty secret, Julia Roberts responded, "Trying to make peace with the aging process. I just realize that it's going to happen whether I like it or not." While she says she supports everyone using whatever works for them, she even tried Botox a few years ago to see how it would affect her appearance, but she didn't like it.[1]
