Jason Statham (born July 26, 1967) is an English actor, producer, and former competitive diver, known for his roles in action films. Renowned for his tough-guy persona, martial arts skills, and deadpan delivery, Statham rose to fame in Guy Ritchie’s crime films Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) and Snatch (2000) before becoming a global action star in franchises like The Transporter, The Expendables, and Fast & Furious.

Born in Shirebrook, Derbyshire, England, Statham grew up in a working-class family. His father was a street vendor and lounge singer, while his mother worked as a dancer.
