Brian Tee (born March 15, 1977) is a Japanese-born Korean-American actor, best known for his roles in major television series and blockbuster films. He is widely recognized for portraying complex characters, often in positions of authority or with a formidable presence, in projects like The Wolverine, Jurassic World, and the medical drama Chicago Med.

Early Life and Education
Brian Tee was born Jae-bum Takata in Okinawa, Japan, to a Korean father and a Japanese mother. His family immigrated to the United States when he was young, and he was raised in Hacienda Heights, California. Tee developed an interest in acting during high school. He initially pursued a pre-law track at the University of California, Berkeley, but later transferred to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he graduated with a degree in Theater and Japanese Literature.[1]
