童金南 ,1962年5月生,博士教授博士生導師[1]。國家傑出青年基金獲得者[2],國家自然科學基金委創新群體負責人。國務院政府特殊津貼[3]、全國先進科技工作者、全國「五一」勞動獎章獲得者[4]湖北省教學名師。

人物經歷

1978年9月-1982年7月原武漢地質學院地層古生物學專業本科學習獲學士學位。

1982年9月-1985年7月中國地質大學(武漢)古生物學和地層學專業研究生學習獲碩士學位。

1987年9月-1991年12月中國地質大學(武漢)古生物學和地層學專業在職博士研究生學習獲理學博士學位。

1985年7月至今中國地質大學(武漢)任教(1996年12月在原地質礦產部破格晉升為教授1999年12月評為博士生導師)。

1994年10月-12月1997年11月-1998年1月1998年11月-1999年2月分別在美國Smithsonian研究所、澳大利亞Deakin大學和美國Arizona大學進行科學訪問和合作研究。

現任生物地質與環境地質國家重點實驗室主任中國地質大學武漢學術委員會主任中國古生物學會副理事長 全國地層委員會副秘書長。國際地層委員會三疊系分會選舉委員2008-2016任副主席。

教學方面承擔着本學科主幹課程「古生物學」的建設和教學任務主編出版了「普通高等教育『十五』和『十一五』國家級規劃教材」《古生物學》和《古生物地史學概論》負責建成「古生物學」國家精品課程和國家精品資源共享課程獲湖北省教學成果一等獎指導本科生獲「挑戰杯」全國大學生課外科技作品競賽特等獎被評為「湖北省教學名師」並負責」湖北名師工作室「建設。

科研方面重點研究重大地質突變期生命―環境事件和過程尤其主攻二疊紀―三疊紀之交突變期生物―環境事件對二疊紀―三疊紀之交的生物地質過程、三疊紀初的地層學、生物演變和生態系重建等方面的科學研究有重要貢獻。發表論文200多篇SCI收錄100餘篇組織主編英文文集5部其中SCI期刊文集3部出版專著5部國外2部獲國家自然科學二等獎2項、教育部自然科學一等獎1項、湖北省自然科學一等獎2項、國土資源部科技一等獎1項。2003年獲國家傑出青年科學基金資助負責的「重大地質突變期生物與環境協同演化」研究集體分別於2005年和2006年獲教育部創新團隊計劃和國家創新研究群體科學基金資助。

2001年獲湖北省青年科技獎2004年獲得國務院政府特殊津貼2009年獲尹贊勛地層古生物學獎2012年被評為全國先進科技工作者2014年獲全國五一勞動獎章。
