凱特·A·曼恩(Kate A. Manne)出生於澳大利亞維多利亞州。目前任教於康奈爾大學Sage 哲學學院擔任副教授。[1][2]
教育背景
- 2001-2005年於墨爾本大學，學習哲學、邏輯，和計算機科學。[3]
- 2006-2011年麻省理工學院攻讀哲學博士。
- 2011-2013年是哈佛研究員協會的初級研究員。
- 2013年起在康奈爾大學Sage 哲學學院任教哲學院工作，於2019年升任副教授。
影響
曼恩尤以其在厭女上的工作出名。她所著《不只是厭女》（Down Girl）一書不僅在學術界產生了廣泛影響，還成為了流行的大眾讀物，被華盛頓郵報等多家媒體評為當年的最佳書籍[4][5]。
