余細勇，男，醫學博士、研究員、教授，從1997年起先後擔任廣東省心血管病研究所碩士生導師、博士生導師和博士後合作導師。 [1]

曾先後留學於香港大學醫學院(2000年9月-2001年1月)和美國貝勒醫學院(2003年1-8月)從事博士後及國際合作研究工作。
現任廣東省人民醫院醫學研究中心主任，同時兼任廣東省人民醫院國家藥物臨床試驗機構辦公室副主任。

研究方向
分子臨床藥理學和分子心血管病學。
20世紀九十年代早期對臨床藥代動力學的三大前沿課題(活性代謝物、藥物對映體、藥代-藥效學結合研究)進行攻關，
開展以b阻滯劑為代表的藥物活性代謝產物的藥動學及其個體差異和種族差異關係的研究，
先後研究了人體普萘洛爾的藥代--藥效學相關性，普萘洛爾、阿替洛爾和卡維洛爾等藥物對映體的立體選擇性差異。
20世紀九十年代中期以後，確立分子臨床藥理學和分子心血管病學研究方向，重點開展基因治療與細胞治療研究(包括轉基因治療冠心病心肌缺血以及幹細胞移植修復心肌損傷)，
以及細胞因子調控網絡的研究(包括b腎上腺素受體基因表達及其信號轉導與心功能的調節、巨噬細胞移動抑制因子MIF在動脈粥樣硬化與急性冠脈綜合症發生髮展中的作用，
探尋藥物治療的新靶點)。
獲獎記錄
獲廣東省醫藥衛生科技進步獎5項(其中一等獎1項、二等獎1項、三等獎3項),廣東省科技進步二等獎3項。
先後被授予廣東省衛生系統"五個一科教興醫工程"學術與技術帶頭人，
"全國中西醫結合優秀中青年科技工作者" 稱號，
葛蘭素優秀青年醫師獎，廣東省十大傑出青年提名獎，
國務院政府特殊津貼專家，第八屆廣東省丁穎科技獎。
2021年8月，被授予"南粵優秀教育工作者"榮譽稱號。
主要貢獻
先後在國際著名期刊《Circulation Research》、國內核心期刊《中華醫學雜誌》等學術刊物上發表論文300多篇，
其中SCI論文30多篇，累計SCI影響因子超過100分。
參與編寫學術專著6部。主持人體生物等效性試驗和藥代動力學研究、新藥臨床前藥理與毒理學研究40多項。
先後承擔國家自然科學基金4項、國家973計劃子課題1項、衛生部科研基金3項、省自然科學基金和科技攻關項目10多項、省醫學科研基金項目10多項。
申請國家發明專利8項，已獲授權發明專利證書6項。共培養碩士、博士研究生及博士後20多人。
