任南琪,男,1959年3月出生於黑龍江哈爾濱,原籍江蘇宜興,工學博士教授博士生導師中國工程院院士[1],長江學者獎勵計劃特聘教授,國家傑出青年科學基金獲得者[2]。現為哈爾濱工業大學副校長,城市水資源與水環境國家重點實驗室主任,"城市水質轉化規律與保障技術"國家創新研究群體帶頭人。兼任國務院住房城鄉建設部海綿城市建設技術指導專家委員會主任委員,國務院學位委員會學科評議組召集人,教育部資源環境與地球科學部委員,國際水協會(IWA)Fellow,教育部環境類專業指導委員會副主任委員,中國環境科學學會副理事長,中國能源學會副會長,中國土木工程學會常務理事等。

主要從事城市水資源與水環境改善對策,污水生物處理工藝、技術與設備,廢物資源化及能源化理論與技術,環境微生物系統生物學與生態學等方面研究。主持國家和省部級項目23項。獲國家技術發明二等獎1項、國家科技進步二等獎2項、省部級獎12項,全國創新爭先獎狀,何梁何利基金科學與技術進步獎1項,著作12部,發表論文SCI收錄500餘篇,總引用12400餘次,H因子54,授權國家發明專利61項。曾入選國家"百千萬人才工程"一、二層次,教育部"跨世紀優秀人才培養計劃基金"獲得者,香港裘磋基金獲得者,享受國務院特殊津貼[3]

主要成績與貢獻

1、面向低碳減排和可持續發展的重大需求,較早地提出了有機廢水是重要的可再生、可利用資源的理念,革新了以污染物去除為目標導向的傳統廢水處理模式,利用生物技術實現了水中有機污染物梯級利用產氫、產電等生物能源化目標,並取得重要的理論突破和技術創新。率先完成了世界首例生物制氫中試(1999年)和生產規模試驗(2005年),推進了生物制氫技術的工業化進程,曾被評為"2000年中國十大科技進展新聞",2007年獲國家技術發明二等獎

2、高濃度、難降解工業有機廢水是我國流域水質惡化的重要污染源,亟待解決高效轉化的技術難題。任南琪團隊圍繞着製藥、染料、化工、印染等典型重污染源行業廢水處理技術難題開展了近20年研究,取得重要的理論突破,並結合我國國情開發出經濟、高效、節能的集成化技術,分別於2004年和2010年獲得了國家科技進步二等獎

3、針對我國有毒物質環境風險及生態安全,帶領團隊率先建立起流域水體安全預警體系和應急決策支持平台,開啟了國家對松花江流域健康水循環和生態安全的長效規劃與關注。主持開展了大尺度環境中持久性有毒物質(PTS)源匯及風險評價研究,組織建立了由6個國家參加的"國際持久性有毒物質聯合研究中心"

4、提出了符合我國國情的生態功能導向的環境污染治理理念及海綿城市建設路徑及技術措施,將城市水處理過程從末端治理、回用及健康循環提升到堅持生態導向的治理理念,提出統籌發揮自然生態功能和人工干預功能的源頭減排、過程控制、系統治理,解決了國家重大需求。
