摩尼•凡帝米（Mounir Fatmi），是欧洲知名的当代艺术家，西元1970出生于摩洛哥的丹吉尔。[1]
生平
1970年出生于摩洛哥的丹吉尔，目前在巴黎和丹吉尔两地创作。
摩尼•凡帝米透过空间的建构和文字文本的游戏邀请观者自由地诠释他的作品。 他不局限于单一媒材的创作，从新兴的录像艺术到装置艺术，甚至较传统的绘画和雕塑都是他拿手的表现方式。作品以现在的时事为题材，带领观者省思这些看似偶发的事件和整个大环境的结构，为我们带来甚么？改变了甚么又表露了甚么？在他的作品中，我们可以感受到人性的矛盾纠结，人们对所作所为的疑惑、恐惧及愿望。
将宗教信仰下的产物和符号去神圣化，解构和终结人们的共同的信条和意识形态都是他的作品阐述的观念。他对消费物之死的概念很感兴趣，常使用这些物件作为创作的元素。这些人类的消费物从维持现代人类物质生活的电视影像传输线、复印机、录影带，到被人遗忘的语言或过去的政治运动，都是他试著探讨的议题。
他的作品除了美学上的纯粹及使用符号上的凌厉，摩尼•凡帝米也提供了观者另一个看世界的角度，和他拒绝盲目接受繁文俗例的精神。
世界各主要城市的美术馆都有他展览的足迹：苏黎世的 Migros Museum、 杜塞道夫的艺术皇宫美术馆（Kunst Palast museum ）、巴黎庞毕度艺术中心、斯德哥尔摩的现代艺术博物馆、东京的森美术馆。 在重大的双年展也都可以看到他的作品： 他参加过2007和2011两届威尼斯双年展、 第八届沙迦双年展、 第五届广州双年展、 第二届塞维亚双年展、 第十届里昂双年展等等。
2008年，他的作品被选入伦敦泰特现代美术馆的Paradise Now！法国1890－2008前卫电影展 ，并且同年也在巴黎庞毕度艺术中心的“圣迹”(Traces du sacré)展中展出。
1993年开始，他的作品受到多次大奖的肯定，其中包括Léopold Sédar Senghor大奖、第七届达喀尔双年展最高奖励、第八届的Canaries岛国际电影节最佳录像艺术创作奖、 阿姆斯特丹Rijksakademie学院美术馆的le Uriôt prize及2010 年开罗双年展奖等。
2011年摩尼•凡帝米受邀参加第54届威尼斯双年展中第一个且规模最大的‘泛阿拉伯主义当代艺术展’ ¨The Future of a Promise¨。
