俞琤博学多才，与[[林燕妮]]、[[白韵琴]]、[[狄娜]]、[[施南生]]等一并被媒体称为[[香江才女]]。
俞琤後曾在[[電訊盈科]]旗下[[盈科天馬動力]]擔任行政總裁，但無大成績。2004年發生[[鄭經翰]]及[[黃毓民]]封咪事件後，重新出掌商台，任[[董事局]]副主席至2015年底。俞琤重返商台後，揚言要將電台「變得理性」，開始整頓部份被指為「政治敏感」的節目。之後商台節目作風出現轉變，立場變得溫和，並以[[在晴朗的一天出發]]代替[[風波裡的茶杯]]，但收聽率則出現下跌。她在2008年創立[[天比高創作伙伴]]<ref name="東周刊200912"></ref>。
