常绿乔木。小枝干时褐色，无毛，有纵条痕。叶互生，椭圆形或披针形，长10-20厘米，宽3-8厘米，先端尖锐或钝；
基部楔形，革质，上面深绿色，有光泽，下面绿褐色，具白粉，两面均无毛，羽状脉，中脉在两面均突起，侧脉每边10-12条，纤细，在叶上面微突或略平，下面突起，下面横行小脉明显；
叶柄长1.5-2厘米，有沟槽，无毛。雄花序由伞形花序组成的圆锥花序，腋生，长3-4厘米，花序主轴粗1-2毫米，有柔毛；苞片小，卵形，外面有柔毛；每一小伞形花序有花3朵，花梗长3毫米，有柔毛；

Evergreen trees. Branchlets glabrous. Leaves alternate; petiole 1.5-2 cm, furrowed, glabrous; leaf blade elliptic or lanceolate, 10-20 × 3-8 cm, glabrous on both surfaces and glaucous abaxially, pinninerved, lateral veins 10-12 pairs, transverse veinlets conspicuous, base cuneate, apex acute or obtuse.
Umbels in panicles on short branchlets, male umbel 3-flowered; short branchlets 3-4 cm, pubescent. Male flowers: pedicel ca. 3 mm, pubescent; perianth segments 6, ovate, 5-nerved; fertile stamens 26-32; filaments stout and short, pubescent, of outside 6- or 8-glandular, of inside each with 2 sessile subglobose glands at middle; rudimentary pistil lacking. Female flower and fruit unknown. Fl. Oct.
