拜里米苏拉于永乐九年（1412年）率领妻子陪臣五百余人随郑和前往明朝觐见明成祖，明成祖亲自设宴款待，赏赐丰厚。

依据[[明史]]，苏丹依斯甘达沙于永乐十七年（1420年）拜访明朝[[明成祖|永樂皇帝]]，向明朝控诉暹罗的威胁，明成祖于是"赐敕谕暹罗，暹罗乃奉诏"。苏丹依斯甘达沙死于1424年，由其子斯里马哈拉惹（{{lang-ms|Sri Maharaja}}）继位，也率妻子陪臣拜访明朝。
