'''台灣肖楠''' 為台灣特有樹種，隸屬柏科肖楠屬，天然分布於中、北部海拔300-1900 m之山地，南限止於阿里山。肖楠屬全世界僅有3種，分別為北美之美國肖楠 (C. decurrens Florin)、中國大陸雲南之翠柏 (C. macrolepis Kurz)與台灣肖楠等3種 。台灣肖楠以其木材紋理緻密具芳香而與台灣扁柏同列入高價材樹種，2002年扁柏中材每立方公尺約64000元。<ref>[https://www.coa.gov.tw/ws.php?id=5975 台灣肖楠，行政院農業委員會]</ref>
