溫特乃由業餘球會打起，19歲已加盟荷蘭班[[阿積士]]，其間贏得了一屆[[荷甲]]聯賽冠軍(1990年)、一屆[[歐洲杯賽冠軍杯]](1987年)、一屆[[歐洲足協杯]](1992年)。他代表過國家隊出戰[[1988年欧洲足球锦标赛|1988年歐洲國家杯]]，乃當屆冠軍隊成員。[[1990年世界杯]]-{zh-hans:温特;zh-hant:溫達}-也有出席，但不幸在十六強被當屆冠軍[[德國國家足球隊|德國]]所淘汰。
