度冬及遷徙期多棲於平原及山坡灌木疏林及田間樹上。

結小群活動。在地面跳躍覓食。

一般在清晨或傍晚，一系列響亮，清晰的悠揚鳴聲。告警時發出連串低沉粗啞「chak、chak、chak」。空中飛行時發出尖細「滋－」聲。
