1999年获得Howard Hughes(霍华得休斯)基金在哈佛大学医学院David Clapham教授(美国科学院院士)的实验室从事博士后研究。2001年起在哈佛大学医学院担任讲师职务并从事科学研究。现为美国生物物理学会和美国光学生物医学工程学会会员。

人物生平

长期从事生物医学光子学的研究与应用,已发表30余篇高质量学术论文(包括Nature, PNAS)和取得研究专利结果7项。主要研究方面有: 1)生物医学光学影像技术及其在癌症扩散和干细胞方面的研究。实验室正在建设的一种新的生物医学光学仪器"活体流式细胞仪", 将无须抽血即可实时检测活体小动物(如实验用的

老鼠)循环系统内某个(某些)细胞群体(如CD4+白细胞)的存在并可以进行定量分析与监测,适用于实验室对癌症细胞的扩散研究、药物的早期筛选、血细胞和白细胞的免疫分析等; 2)激光生物医学光子学在医学临床上的研究和实际应用,如无创检测皮肤疾病和治疗,老年痴呆症和帕金森症的早期光学诊断和早期治疗等;3)运用活体的光学分子影像技术及新的纳米技术进行药物吸收(Drug Delivery)的研究。
