目录 1简介 2研究方向 3科研方向 4科研项目 5荣誉 6论文 折叠编辑本段简介 ​刘明耀教授,男,1962年生于湖南,1982年获湖南师范大学学士学位,1985年获湖南师范大学硕士学位,1992年获美国马里兰大学 (University of Maryland, College Park) 细胞生物学博士学位,1993年到1998年先后在美国约翰•霍普金斯大学医学院 (Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine) 神经科学系和加州理工学院(California Institute of Technology, Caltech)生物学部做博士后研究。1999年在美国德克萨斯农工大学生物科学和技术研究所 (Institute of Biosciences and Technology, Texas A&M University) 任助理教授。2003年晋升为终身副教授,2007年晋升为终身教授。刘明耀教授任职于该研究所干细胞与癌生物学中心,并担任德克萨斯农工大学细胞与分子医学系博士导师,同时担任德克萨斯农工大学遗传学部,德克萨斯大学休斯敦健康科学中心和M.D. Anderson癌症研究中心(University of Texas Houston Health Science Center and University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences)博士导师。2007年受聘为华东师范大学教授,筹建生命医学研究所并任所长。

刘明耀教授的研究领域主要涉及发育和疾病过程中G-蛋白偶联受体(GPCRs)及其信号转导途径在胚胎发育和疾病发生过程中的作用(包括生殖系统、癌症、糖尿病、骨骼和心血管系统)。G-蛋白偶联受体是已知数目最多的细胞表面受体家族,它们把多种多样的胞外信号传递到细胞内,并通过和其它信号转导途径间的相互作用广泛参与细胞增殖、分化、迁移,尤其是各类生理活动和疾病的调控。刘明耀教授实验室研究的总体目标就是利用基因敲除和转基因动物技术平台研究构建疾病模型并研究GPCRs在生物体中的功能;利用细胞信号转导网络技术平台来阐明GPCRs在正常和疾病状态下的细胞和分子机制。其最终目标是开发特异靶向性膜受体和信号途径的疾病治疗药物。研究领域集中在G蛋白偶联受体(GPCRs)及其信号转导途径,包括1)发育和代谢疾病;2)肿瘤发生,发展和转移的分子机理;3)血管新生和抗血管新生药物的分子机制及新药研发;4)炎症和肿瘤免疫中G蛋白偶联受体介导的NF-КB信号途径;5)干细胞分化调控和人类疾病转基因动物模型的建立。
