創作背景

Imagine Dragons主唱丹·雷諾斯表示，這首歌是他對過去的回顧，他曾經跟周圍的一切格格不入，做音樂是其唯一的解脫，而他總是羞於跟其他人分享。對丹·雷諾斯來說，那段時期像是雷鳴前的閃電，他告訴自己要做自己熱愛的事情，要到世界各地，為人們分享音樂，《Thunder》也由此誕生 。
