卡洛琳·玛丽·希瑞斯，（英语：Caroline Mary Series，1951年3月－24日），1951年3月24日出生于牛津。为英国数学家，研究领域为双曲几何、克莱因群以及动力系统。是物理学家George William Series的女儿。[1]
生平
卡洛琳·希瑞斯高中就读于牛津女子高中，1969年入牛津大学萨默维尔学院，1972年取得数学学士学位，并获颁大学数学奖(university Mathematical Prize)。随后她取得甘迺迪学人奖学金，前往美国哈佛大学就读数学博士班。1976年时，在George Mackey指导下，以Ergodic action of product groups(乘积群上的遍历作用)论文取得博士学位。
职业
1976–77年间，卡洛琳·希瑞斯在加州大学柏克莱分校担任讲师。 1977–78年间，在剑桥大学纽纳姆学院担任研究员。 自1978年起任教于华威大学，初为讲师(lecturer)，1987年升任资深讲师(reader)，1992年升任教授(professor)。 1999至2004年间，担任华威大学“工程与物质科学研究谘议会EPSRC(Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council)”资深研究员。
1970年代，希瑞斯在连分数的几何与二维双曲几何(富克斯群的效应)中发现关于动力系统中Rufus Bowen理论的诠释。之后，她开始投身于研究三维双曲空间中的相似几何胚腾(含碎形)，旁涉克莱因四元群以及对称群。希瑞斯与戴维·芒福德以及David Wright合作，费十年功夫，发展并利用电脑图学，最终完成了一本书。希瑞斯的研究伙伴还有Linda Keen及Joan Birman。

奖项与荣誉
1987年，获由伦敦数学学会所颁之Junior Whitehead Prize。1992年，任剑桥大学Rouse Ball讲座。1986年，获邀至该年在柏克莱举办的国际数学家会议演讲(测地流的符号动力学Symbolic Dynamics for Geodesic Flows)。自1990年到2001年，任伦敦数学学会学生丛书编辑。1986年，倡议成立欧洲女性数学协会(European Women in Mathematics, EWM)。[2] 2009年，以Emmy Noether访问教授身分至哥廷根大学讲学。卡洛琳是美国数学学会会士。
