==主要特徵==

馬藍屬中唯一匍匐性 [[ 草本植物 ]] 。莖柔軟，平臥地上。葉闊卵或橢圓形，長2-5cm，寬2 -3c m ，基部突尖或近圓形，兩面光滑或疏被長粗毛。花單生葉腋，略帶藍色。

馬藍屬近似的植物：

[[ 馬藍 ]] ：葉面近革質較光滑，葉子也較寬，無毛。

[[ 台灣馬藍 ]] ：葉面無光澤近紙質葉子較尖，葉及花萼有毛。
