== 地理環境 ==

國土面積約79.9萬平方公里。西部與北部的山區高原、中部高地站佔領土3/5，其餘為平原。

位於[[熱帶]]與[[亞熱帶]]，屬[[草原氣候]]。乾季易發生干旱，沿海地區有颶風和洪水等自然災害。

目前莫三比克的勞動人口仍以農業為主，政府曾調整經濟結構並擴大農業投資，雖然水資源豐富且氣候適合農作物大面積種植，但土地利用率低、商業化程度不高、農業技術落後及缺乏灌溉設施導致產量極為不穩，自產糧食不足，需仰賴國外進口。種植作物以[[棉花]]、腰果、[[甘蔗]]、[[菸草]]、[[玉米]]、[[木薯]]為主，有著「世界腰果之鄉」之稱。

漁業資源豐富，政府大力推動水產養殖並出口 [[ 蝦 ]] 至國外。

莫三比克擁有豐富的未開採煤礦資源。礦業多屬私人企業，煤、金、石墨、鈦、天然氣之產量佔世界一席之地。
