1999年8月14日，懷利與[[鱈魚角]]出身的前[[布朗大學]]第一組[[冰球]]選手凱特·普瑞斯貝瑞（Kate Presbrey）結婚<ref>[https://decisionmagazine.com/rebuilding-a-village/ Rebuilding a Village]，decisionmagazin，03FEBRUARY2006</ref>，他們有三個孩子：漢娜（Hannah）、艾瑪（Emma）與卡雷伯（Caleb）。懷利一家在麻薩諸塞州海恩尼斯與北加州夏洛特兩邊住。懷利曾在夏洛特與葛培理佈道協會(Billy Graham Evangelistic Associatio)合作，擔任「效法但以理（Dare to be a Daniel）」節目的導演，目前則開設「高級旅遊（High Gear Travel）旅行社」，提供欲動相關旅遊業務，並且在[[北加州]]印地安小徑(Indian Trail, North Carolina)極限冰上運動中心（the Extreme Ice Center）擔任花式滑冰教練。
