<p style="text-indent: 30px; line-height:30px">[[李寧遠]]生於（1945年9月2日－），[[受洗]]聖名John Ning-Yuean Lee，臺灣[[生物學]]、[[營養學]]學者，曉[[普通話]]、[[英語]]、[[台語]]、[[粵語]]，曾任[[天主教輔仁大學]]民生學院首任院長、校長<small>（[[在台復校]]後第一位非文科出身，並擁有科學背景的校長；2000年8月設立醫學系）</small><ref>[http://www.alum.ntu.edu.tw/wordpress/?p=2475 臺大校友雙月刊 校友情與事] {{webarchive|url=https://web.archive.org/web/20160304090141/http://www.alum.ntu.edu.tw/wordpress/?p=2475 |date=2016-03-04 }}</ref>，[[國立體育學院]](現稱為國立體育大學)教授。</p>
