2003年3月17日，美国[[亚拉巴马]]州发行了一枚海伦·凯勒纪念币。该币中央鑄著海伦·凯勒肖像，旁边是用英文和布莱葉盲文書寫著海伦·凯勒的名字，该纪念幣是美国第一个有盲文的硬币。<ref name=“青年網"/>
1971年，[[國際獅子會]]宣布將每年6月1日定為「海倫·凱勒紀念日」。
