<p style="text-indent: 30px; line-height:30px">1998年當選[[烈嶼鄉]]民代表，2002年[[金門縣議員]]選舉增加兩名婦女保障名額，原本沒有參選意願，登記截止前一天在親友的分析勸說下才決定參選，登記截止當天下午才完成登記，從此步入[[金門縣議會]]為民喉舌。
