丁善雄所長曾以「林綠」為筆名發表創作，著有《林綠自選集》、《隱藏的景》、《文學評論集》、《手中的夜》、《十二月的絕響》、《覆信》、《森林與鳥》、《薔薇花》、《西海岸戀歌》等。編有《郁達夫選集》、《許地山選集》、《夏丐尊選集》、《美國成語大辭典》等。英文著作有From Style to Type，Huang Ting Chien and the Use of Tradition等。曾獲「全國優異青年詩人獎」(1966)、「中山文藝獎」。
